Hey guys. Here's me looking like a hot mess (Photobooth, whaddupppp) showing off what I splurged on today. Yes, that's right. I gave up a night (let's be real, probably multiple nights) of hitting the bars so I could purchase this beautiful specimen at Barnes and Noble today. I had Amazon gift cards, but decided I couldn't wait the 2+ weeks it was going to take to ship - apparently this book is a hot commodity.

Anyway, if you can't tell due to the backwardsness, it's called Practical Paleo by Diane Sanfilippo, of the blog Balanced Bites. I actually heard about it on the Livin' La Vida Low Carb podcast and knew I needed it ASAP. It's filled with all kinds of information about the diet and nutrition behind Paleo, 30-day meal plans for all different conditions and goals, and tons of delicious looking recipes. I've only flipped through it so far, but it looks phenomenal. I'm so excited to be able to sit down and read through it. (Though it probably won't be tonight - I've got an interview tomorrow. Yikes!!)

I just wanted to show off this book for a minute and express my excitement, but I'll be back soon with some more information about me, how I got into Paleo and why, and how everything's been going so far. (Spoiler: Not bad, but I've still got lots of work to do.) See you soon!
